Google Chrome, a browser which is eminent for giving fast service in loading web pages, playing videos and downloading files than the other browsers exist till now is on the move of getting a lot faster. This will get done with the onset of the new compression algoritshm called Brotli, introduced by Google in last September.
According to Google, through Brotli algorithm, Google Chrome will be able to compress data up to 26%, which is more than the compression capacity of its existing engine. So Google Chrome is making an effective jump towards replacing the existing engine Zopfli with the new and advanced one Brotli.
The web performance engineer of Google, Ilya Grigorik, stated that Brotli is all set to show its impact. Owing to this new release, Google chrome users are likely to experience an impressive speed in its load time with the coming of the next version of Chrome and probably it will happen in just a few weeks.
Google, further proclaims that through Brotli, the mobile chrome users will also get benefitted to lower the data transfer fees and reduce the battery consumption. Brotli is a new data format of Google that is assumed to be accepted by other web browsers in the recent future. But for now, after Google chrome, Firefox is in the line of getting access to this compression algorithm.
